Bek Bek

                                Bek Bek
Simple and easy these pancakes are once my husband favorite, as child and he still like them.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2-cup whole-wheat flour
1 tbsp fennel seeds
1 egg
Chopped walnut optional
1/4 tsp baking powder or 1/2 tsp yeast optional.
1/4-cup brown sugar
1/2-cup milk
Oil for frying
Method:

In mixing bowl whisk egg, milk and sugar until well combine.
Sift flour and baking powder, add to wet ingredients, mix well then add fennel seeds, and mix.

Heat non-stick frying pan and add little oil about 1 tsp for each pancake.
Cook on both sides and serve warm.

Note.
If you are using yeast not baking powder, then whisk milk, sugar and yeast and leave it for 15 minutes then add everything and leave it for another 25 minutes before frying them.
Note. You don’t have to deep-fry it .1tsp oil for each side of Bek Bek is enough .
