Cinnamon swirl bread.

This is bread from heaven .the flavor is out of this world .the aroma  make you happy and it great in refegertor for week  so you can toast and enjoy.
And its great for breakfast brunch and even  for unusual  sandwich .  the texture is so soft  wonderful after cutting first slice you will thinking may be I am a  the best.

Cinnamon swirl bread.
2 cups bread flour
1 envelope active dry yeast
3/4 cup whole wheat
2tbsp white sugar
2 egg white 1 egg yolk
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup warm milk
2teaspoon cinnamon powder
1tsp vanilla sugar
1/4cup brown sugar
1/4cup raisins
1 egg yolk with 1tbsp milk for brushing

 1.Place flour, white sugar, salt, and yeast into the bowl and whisk together add egg, melted butter, warm milk, and vanilla extract; pour into the flour mixture. Using wooden spoon to mix until the flour is moistened and a dough forms, then leave the bowl cover for 15 minutes after 15 minutes remove from bowl in to clean counter and knead for 15 minutes rest the dough for 25 minutes cover it with oily plastic wrap. And knead again for 15 minutes.

2. Now Place dough into a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. 3.Punch down dough, turn out onto a floured work surface, and Roll the dough into a 1/3-inch thick rectangle. Brush the square with melted butter. Mix together cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl, and then sprinkle evenly over the rectangle shape dough then sprinkle raisins on the top.

4.Roll it firmly into a log, pinch the ends to seal   and tuck them underneath. Place it into a greased, loaf pan. Cover, and allow rising in a warm place until doubled in size about 45 minutes. 

5.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
6.Brush the tops of the loaves with egg wash of the egg yolk and milk mixture then bake in preheated oven until loaves are golden brown, and sound hollow when tapped, about 30 to 35 minutes.
 Make sure to sliced the bread after fully cool.

Orange yellow bread

   Year a go I was watching  barefoot contessa  and she was making bread pudding ,in her recipe she was using panettone bread. she  explained that this bread have nuts golden raisins and orange rinds .after watching this bread I was craving for this yummy bread so I went to my kitchen and invent  this bread ,believe me its not panettone ,But its so yummy and good looking bread no one will believe that you make it by your self .it will be a star on your breakfast table.

This is a very rich bread a taste of orange marmalade make this bread so yummy.

2 cups white bread flour pulse extra for dusting and rolling.
1 tbsp instant yeast
3/4-cup milk,
3tbsp warm water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1 egg white
1/4cup canola oil
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup orange marmalade
1 tsp mayor lemon zest
Slivered almonds (optional)
1 tsp pearl sugar (optional


1.Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl until the dough form.

2. Knead the dough for 15 minutes and place in grease bowl.

3. Let the dough Rise for 3 hours or until double in size.

4. Form round ball. Place in cake pan and cover with oiled plastic wrap and leave it to Rise again .for 1 to 2 hours  or until double in size.

5.then brush with egg white and sprinkle pearl sugar.

6.Bake at 350° degrees for 35-40 minutes
Or until done.
don,t forget to enjoy it with a cup of tea.

Zaatar bread

This  simple beautiful and yummy bread is the everyday breakfast for many Arabs .and according to  me this is much healthier and easy to make then any other bread out there.
All the herbs are not only give this bread a great flavors but also very good for you .so other time you get in the mood of something different try my version of Zaatar bread .and you will be hooked for life time.


Spice Ingredients
1/8-cup ground sumac berries
1/2 cup dried thyme leaves
Add caption
1/4cup roasted sesames SEEDS
4tblespoon-dried marjoram
1/4 cup dried oregano leave
1-teaspoon salt.
1TSP white pepper
1tbsp cumin powder.


1cup bread flour
1/2-cup warm milk
1 tsp instant yeast
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sugar
1tbsp canola oil
or ready made Zaatar spice mix.

Spice method:

Combine everything except sesame seeds and grind it in the grinder, mix the remaining sesame seeds and add to air -tight container

Bread method.
Mix together all the ingredient of the bread until the soft dough form, and then kneads the dough for some time  
Until it becomes smooth.
Cover and allow the bread to rest in warm place until
Double in size.
Make 2 equal size balls and roll each in round pizza shape.
For the topping mix 2 tbsp spice blend with a tbsp of olive oil and spread it evenly.
Preheat the oven at the highest heat and place the pizza stone for 25 minutes or until the stone get really hot place each bread let it cook until golden and fully cooked.
If you don’t have pizza stone just use any kind baking tray place Zaatar bread and bake until fully cooked.
Serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
