Whole wheat walnut and date scones
Scones the British classic tea time treat is also perfect for breakfast with cup of
tea.
These scones were wonderful surprise for my family when this
Saturday I start making them in the morning .perfectly cooked these scones was
ideal for breakfast and brunch.
Ingredients:
1/2cup all-purpose flour
1/2cup whole wheat flour
1-1/4 tsp aluminum free baking powder
1tbsp flax seeds
1/4 cup chopped dates
1/4cup chopped walnut
1 beaten egg
[separate 2tbsp for brushing on the scones ]
1tbsp butter
1tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup milk
1tbsp raw sugar
1tsp ground cinnamon
method:
place all the dry ingredients in large mixing bowl .add
butter and oil and mix it with you finger rub the butter and in to the flour
mix egg and milk and add to dry ingredients ,
and mix until the dough forms knead
it for 1 minutes and roll it in to round thick circle cut in wedges .
now arrange
them in baking sheet brush them with remaining egg sprinkle extra sugar if
desire and bake them in preheated oven for 475.f for 15 minutes or until golden
and fully done cool on wire rack before serve them with fruits and butter.

Smoothies
Summer start its not cold any more ,so do
I start exercise jogging and when you do exercise in the morning smoothies are
wonderful .first it cool you down and its filled with good nutrients so you
feel good that after all you run you
take something good .
Triple berry Smoothie
Ingredients
•handful of frozen
blueberries
•handful of frozen
raspberries
•1/4cup cup fresh
strawberries
1 fresh banana cubed
•1 cup milk
•1 container (8 oz.) low-fat vanilla yogurt
•2 teaspoon sugar or honey
method:
In the container of a blender combine berries, banana
,milk, yogurt and sugar. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Serve immediately
in tall glasses. Garnish with blueberry skewers or strawberry flower.
Hawaii smoothie
Ingredients
•1 peach, sliced
•1 mango, peeled and diced
•1/4cup fresh pineapple
chunks
hand full of strawberries
•1/2 cup frozen yogurt or ice cream
•3/4cup orange juice
Directions
1.Place the
peach, mango, strawberries yogurt and
orange juice into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses
to serve.
Note. I use
frozen fruit because I like texture like ice cream .

Ingredients
1 large apple
1 large banana
1 mango
1 pear
2 oranges
1/2-cup grapes
2 medium size guava
1/2-cup pomegranate
or
1cup strawberries
1/4cup blue berries
1 large apple
3 medium orange
2 banana
1/4 cup green gapes
Dressing
Pinch red chili powder
1/4-cup fresh orange juice
1 tsp sugar
Pinch of salt
Mint leaves for garnish
Method.
Wash all the fruits peel and chopped in
equal size. Mix the dressing pour on the fruit mix.
And garnish with mint leaves serve.

and maple syrup .

Ingredients
1/2cup
whole-wheat pastry flour
1 cup
unbleached all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons
baking powder aluminum free
1/2-teaspoon
baking soda aluminum free
Pinch of
salt
2 large
eggs
1 1/2
cups buttermilk
2-teaspoons
vanilla sugar
3
tablespoons canola oil or melted butter.
4
different types of flavor additions choice
1/4bluberries
or1-cup
fresh berries[black berries blueberries ,raspberries or cranberries
or 1 sliced banana and 2 tbsp walnuts
or1/4cup
chocolate chips/white and brown.
Method:
2. Sift
together the flours, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
3. In
another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the buttermilk and whisk together and
the oil and Whisk it for 1 minute.
4. Add
the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and gently fold in together. Do not
over mix a few lumps are okay. Let sit for one 25 minutes before cooking.
Remove and serve with fruits such as berries maple syrup and little butter serve warm

Red velvet cake.
Red velvet cake is very famous cake around here. you can
easily find red velvet cake cup cake in all the bakeries but home made cake is
much healthier and easy to make and the best part is you can change the sugar
amount .
This is my version of this cake. and I was lucky at first
try I create this recipe which is almost like the original recipe.
Red velvet cake.
Red velvet cake with pistachios cream cheese
topping.
Ingredients.
1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2tsp baking powder[aluminum free]
1/4tsp baking soda[aluminum free]
2/3cup vegetable oil
1tbsp coco powder
2/3cup sugar
2eggs
4 drops red food coloring
1tsp white vinegar
1/4cup water
1tsp vanilla
Frosting
half package 14 ounce cream cheese
1/4cup icing sugar
2tbsp butter room temperature
1tsp vanilla sugar
1/2 cup finally chopped pistachios
method:
beat together sugar oil and eggs add vanilla and stir food
coloring and keep aside .
now In a separate
bowl sift dry ingredients flour, baking powder, and baking soda ,coco powder,
and gently combine with dry ingredients add water and vinegar too until smooth
red cake batter made.
Pour in the prepared cake pan and bake it in preheated oven
at 375.f for 25 to30 minutes or when the tooth
pick insert in the middle come
out clean. cool it completely mean while prepared the frosting add the
ingredients of frosting beat
until smooth and fluffy frosting made now with the help of spatula spread the
cream cheese frosting and sprinkle the pistachio serve fresh fruits.
